AutoWallis continues its expansion in Slovenia: it is opening a Land Rover dealership in Ljubljana

The AutoWallis Group has opened Slovenia’s only Land Rover dealership, thus further increasing its retail activities in the country. With this step, the automotive company registered on the Hungarian stock exchange is continuing its international expansion after having carried out two successful acquisitions in the neighboring country in the past two years, now selling 5 vehicle brands in 5 Slovenian cities.
Wallis Motor Ljubljana, a member of the AutoWallis Group, has opened Slovenia's only Land Rover combined showroom and factory authorized service center in Ljubljana, making the Group an increasingly important player in the country’s retail car market. With the British brand, the members of the Hungarian group (Avto Aktiv and Wallis Motor Ljubljana) now sell a total of 5 vehicle brands in 5 Slovenian cities. The recently opened 450 square meter salon is directly neighbouring the capital city’s only BMW dealership, operated by Wallis Motor Ljubljana, facilitating a reduction in the turnaround times of various brand-related services (e.g. painting, body repairs), both improving operational efficiency and enhancing the customer experience. In connection with the new dealership, Péter Antal, Director of AutoWallis’s Retail & Services Business Unit, said that the step supports one of AutoWallis’s strategic goals of introducing and selling the brands represented by the Group with the greatest possible coverage in the 14 countries in the region where the Group operates. In addition to Land Rover, the newly opened dealership also provides customers access to repairs of another iconic British vehicle brand, Jaguar.
As a member of the AutoWallis Group, Wallis Automotive Europe has been the exclusive importer of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands in the Central and Eastern European market (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia) since 2016, which Hungary joined in the spring of 2020. The past decade has been a clear-cut automotive success story for Jaguar Land Rover, and its representation in Hungary since 2020 by the Group has also been similarly successful. The British manufacturer is continuing the dynamic and innovative product development that it had started, making it a prominent player in the premium car market.
