Turning Experiences into Help: AutoWallis and Bátor Tábor Have Launched the Bátor Rally Once Again

The Bátor Rally, Bátor Tábor’s innovative charity event, set out on its journey for the second time, made possible through a key strategic partnership with AutoWallis. The initiative raises funds for experiential therapy programs for seriously ill children through the joy of driving. Once again, this unique charity event focused not on speed, but on solidarity and helping others.
Launched in 2025 with the aim of establishing a tradition, the rally was a major success even in its first year. Building on last year’s experience, this year’s event welcomed supporters with even more professional organization, unique vehicles, and exciting driving and community experiences.
The goal is none other than to fund Bátor Tábor’s fall family camps. This fall, the Foundation will once again host more than 60 families—completely free of charge—who are raising children under the age of 10 with serious or chronic illnesses. These families not only have to cope with a difficult diagnosis but also with a family dynamic that has been reorganized—and often disrupted—in their daily lives. The shared experiences and experiential therapy programs at the camps are designed to help this balance gradually be restored. Furthermore, the connections formed within this community of peers often provide a source of strength that serves as a long-term anchor for emotional healing.
“Our most memorable experience was the openness, honesty, and support we showed one another. An enduring community was born that demonstrated that life can emerge even from trauma. We are grateful and thankful for this as well”—feedback like this is what makes the work worthwhile.

What makes the Bátor Rally unique is that participating companies do not pay an entry fee; instead, they “rent” the cars provided by AutoWallis for one day through their donations. This auction-based system not only heightens the excitement of the race but also directly contributes to increasing the amount of funds raised. Throughout the day, participants work in teams to complete fun challenges, experiencing the joy of driving and collaboration while focusing on helping others rather than on speed.
“At Bátor Tábor, children heal through experiences, so we wanted to provide an experience—but one that also offers real help. The Bátor Rally is a format that adds value for every participant: it helps raise awareness about a difficult topic, builds community, and contributes to Bátor Tábor’s ability to provide healing experiences for as many affected families as possible,” said Zsolt Müllner, chairman of the board of AutoWallis and a member of the Bátor Tábor Supervisory Board.
The rally also serves as a team-building experience: teams of 2–4 employees organized into cars form genuine communities by the end of the day. In addition, the program—just like the camps themselves—relies heavily on volunteerism. At the six exciting stations conceived and implemented by staff from the Foundation and AutoWallis, more than 50 Bátor Tábor volunteers helped run the event, joined by nearly 60 AutoWallis employees who also volunteered.
The initiative aligns well with AutoWallis’s approach to corporate social responsibility, in which transparency, collaboration, and long-term impact play a key role.
“The Bátor Rally demonstrates how we can use our core business—driving and mobility—to help others through collaboration. This is also the essence of our ‘Driving Together’ motto: together, we can achieve more,” emphasized Zsolt Müllner.
